Jeanne-Marie Doyle, comes from an family of artists in the UK. She has had a lifetime of professional experience, using a variety of media. Trained at Ravensbourne College of Art,Kent, London and Leeds University, she has won awards and recognition from the Royal society of Arts, the COID, the Red Cross Society, Geneva, and is an honorary member of the cultural society of Singapore. She has exhibited and sold work in many parts of the world and covered a wide variety of visual communication from textiles to illustration, theatre and exhibition design. Her professionel career has been mainly devoted to education through the arts and she was head of a Creative Arts department for a campus school and adult education in Sheffield. Chairman of the Examination board for Art&Design Manchester, consultant to other examination boards in her subject throughout he UK, and secretary to the Northern branch of the National Society for Education in Art and design in the UK. Now retired, she has more time to continue with her personal work and has turned to exploring further the possibilities of developing new techniques with the vastly improved crayons and pastels of today, as well as continuing with the traditional oil and water colour paint. Après avoir étudié à l’école des Beaux-Arts de Ravensbourne, de Londres et de Leeds, elle remporte de nombreux prix et acquiert la reconnaissance de la Société Royale des arts et dessins industriels de Londres et de la Croix Rouge de Genève. Elle est aussi membre honoraire de la Société Culturelle de Singapore. Forte d’une expérience professionnelle qui couvre un grand nombre de media visuels mais aussi textiles, elle a travaillé dans l’illustration, le théatre et le dessin d'expositions, explorant ainsi une large variété de moyens de communication. Elle expose et vend ses tableaux dans plusieurs pays Sa carrière professionnelle fut également consacrée à l’enseignement des arts. Elle dirigea le département des arts créatifs du collège de Sheffield et fut présidente du jury d’examens d’arts et dessins à l'université de Manchester. Elle fut souvent consultante pour d’autres écoles du Royaume Uni.
